Development Begins on Whiteboard

CAMBRIDGE, MA -- April 8, 2002 -- Today Think Computer announced that it is planning to release a new software package in the near future, called Whiteboard. The new product will be the latest in the company's line of database-driven internet packages. Whiteboard will allow average non-technical users to update their web sites with little background knowledge of FTP or HTML, drastically simplifying a cumbersome and slow process. It will also function as an advanced content management system, with support for multiple users, sections, and blocks of content for each page.

"We're very happy with the direction Whiteboard is providing for our team," said Aaron Greenspan, President & CEO of Think Computer earlier today. "The product fits in perfectly with our existing efforts to develop SecondBase as a web-driven database system, and with our hosting services for small businesses. It's hard to go back to FTP once you've started using it."

Think Computer has not issued an official release date for Whiteboard, but hopes to begin beta testing the product within the month. The company has already began using the product to manage its own web site, at http://www.thinkcomputer.com.
